Yoga Healing Grief
Yoga Healing Grief classes and workshops are yoga classes for those who have experienced grief, giving them the opportunity to heal through the practice of yoga. This is gentle beginner yoga is designed to introduce the basics of yoga and includes positive affirmations, yoga postures, breathing techniques, and restorative and relaxation techniques.
Yoga Healing Grief classes and workshops emphasize healing and focus on a relaxed pace in a safe and nurturing environment. Anyone can do yoga. It's a simple, effective practice that delivers inner peach, vibrant health, and relaxation. This gentle yoga will accommodate any fitness level. Previous yoga experience is not required.
Yoga Healing Grief is based on Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga and Yoga Warriors International™ and has been designed to help anyone who have experienced trauma, PTSD, grief and/or extreme stress. This curriculum integrates concepts from yoga therapy, traditional yoga philosophy and psychology with current scientific knowledge of the body and mind; and is scientifically proven to promote healing and well-being.
Yoga Healing Grief helps to reverse the effects of the fight-or-flight stress response, calm the cycle of painful and negative thoughts that are common after loss, and to develop compassion for oneself. Yoga Healing Grief is powerful program helping to heal the effects of trauma, grief, stress, PTSD and improve the quality of life of those who practice.
